Set in the Byron Bay surrounds on a small acreage, a Japanese meets New Zealand inspired family home. Incredible craftsmanship and natural timbers are the centre focus of the home - using Spotted Gum externally, American Oak internally in the kitchen, living and bedrooms & teak in the bathrooms.

To maximise use of a sloping block to suit a young family, levels were created using gabion stone walls, effectively creating two usable yard spaces to the front and rear of the house.

Bathrooms reminiscent of a Japanese onsen, creating a sense of calm and serenity throughout the house.
